Interview Editorial Policy
- No payment is accepted for an interview or for how it is presented. If that ever changes, the interview is labeled Sponsored at the top.
- Every interviewee's Florida license is confirmed active before publishing, and the license numbers appear on the page.
- The interviewee reviews the final draft for accuracy of their own quotes. The site decides headlines, layout, and editor's notes.
- Any statement about a code, statute, or local rule is checked against an official source. If it cannot be confirmed, it carries an editor's note or the Unverified badge.
- No ratings, rankings, or review stars appear on interview pages.
- Interviews are reviewed once a year and dated with "Last reviewed."
- Building officials are interviewed only by invitation, speaking for themselves, and are never quoted as their department's position.
