Corrections Policy

Accuracy is the purpose of this site. Every page shows a "Last verified" date and links to the official sources it summarizes.

Report an error. Use the "Report an error" link on any page, or email info@tampabuildingcode.com. Include the page, what looks wrong, and a link to the official source if you have one. Building department staff are welcome to send corrections directly.

What happens next. We check every report against the official source. If the page is wrong or out of date, we update it, change its "Last verified" date, and add an entry to the Corrections Log below. If the source supports the page as written, we leave it unchanged.

Independence. We do not accept payment to add, remove, or change code, ordinance, or jurisdiction information.
